What are Bible cards?

Bible cards are wallet-sized physical cards each with a different Bible verse (in packs of 100) and a QR code on the back for the recipient to redeem the card for a free Bible download. The cards can be reused, so it is encouraged for recipients to download the free Bible and give the card to someone else to redeem. Each pack comes with bonus cards that are silver-colored to remind you that: “The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times.” (Psalm 12:6 WEB) The bonus cards will not have your logo on them.

Where will we distribute

When you sponsor Bible cards, Book Redeem will give them to churches and Christian organizations to hand out to their congregations and customers. Recipients of the cards are encouraged to download the free Bible and then give the cards to someone else to redeem such as family members, friends, and people they meet.

Download file

Those who are in possession of the card can scan the QR code to receive a free downloadable file of the Bible. They can download two versions of the Bible: 1. An EPUB file of the World English Bible (updated version) that can be read as an ebook via Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Apple Books, Google Play, etc., or 2. A PDF file of the World English Bible 2022 Illustrated version designed for print.

What is the World English Bible?

The World English Bible is an update of the American Standard Version of 1901, now with U.S.A. spelling for contemporary readers. It features the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, and the PDF version includes color illustrations and maps to enrich your reading experience. The words of Jesus Christ are presented in red throughout the text.

Carefully revised to align with modern English usage while preserving the integrity of the original source texts, this edition may be used for in-depth study, yet remains accessible even to young readers as early as third grade. The New Testament has been meticulously reviewed to adhere to the Greek Majority Text New Testament, with footnotes noting significant variations found in the Textus Receptus, which is used by the King James Version, and the Nestle-Aland/UBS critical text, which is used by other modern translations.

Michael Paul Johnson is the senior editor of the World English Bible. To support the translation efforts, visit https://MLJohnson.org/partner/.
